    September 2018 - there is a broken stile at the southern entrance to Ashurst Wood. The fence can be climbed over (more difficult if you are not tall). This affects the 3.5M loop via the old railway


    August 2018 bridge being repaired near Merrieweathers. This affects the 4M loop past Sharnden. The stream is easily fordable, especially in summer

  • 3 mile loop on roads round Five Ashes
  • 3 mile loop past Page’s Farm
  • 3.5 mile loop through Rocks Wood, past Earls Farm and Renhurst Farm
  • 4 mile loop past Sharnden
  • 4 mile loop round Mayfield Grange using permissive paths
  • 4.5 mile loop through Hawksden Park Wood and back along Witherenden Road
  • 5 mile loop past Moat Farm and Bungehurst Farm (NOTE: this has a couple of difficult stiles to negotiate)
